Job Description

We are looking for a STOREMAN / STOCK CONTROLLER Based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
You will be responsible for managing the inventory and stock of a warehouse or store, ensuring that items are properly stored and readily available when needed. Receive, inspect, and store goods and supplies in an organized manner.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels by uploading into ERP.
• Uphold access control to storage area.
• Check deliveries for accuracy and report any discrepancies to management.
• Raise quality complaints using ISO 9001 process.
• Issue materials and supplies to departments or individuals based on requisitions.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any discrepancies or low stock levels.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment to move heavy items and supplies.
• Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean and organized.
• Ensure bins and spares marked conspicuously.
• Conduct regular stock takes and report on inventory levels to management.
• Follow health and safety regulations and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.

Qualifications and experience

• Grade 12
• Certificate in Supply Chain or equivalent will be advantageous
• At least 2 years relevant work experience
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures

Required Skills

• Computer literacy
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Valid forklift and overhead crane license are preferred but not essential
• Valid drivers licence

Salary: R15,000 - R18,000/month
