The Storeman is responsible for ensuring that goods received into or sent out from the
Company are in good condition and correspond with the correct paperwork to ensure
accurate stocks/records are held and customer deliveries are dispatched on a right first
time basis.
Duties:
Receive goods into the company using the
appropriate software. Ensuring all paperwork is
correct and goods received are in good order,
assisting admin staff to ensure that accurate
stocks are held on site
Ensuring effective and accurate issuing of material from stock - including picking, packing, staging and notification of customers.
Undertaking good housekeeping practices
label goods with details of storage location
Liaise with internal departments on a daily basis
Goods to be stored in appropriate location
Liaise with internal departments on a daily basis
To raise and resolve any internal queries with relevant departments.
To continually strive to improve the departmental process.
Comply with the Health & Safety requirements of the Company.
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Confident and logical under pressure but must understand urgency and respond accordingly.
Good understanding of Health and Safety at Work regulations.
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
