Job Description
The Intrax In-Store Merchandiser is responsible for executing visual merchandising strategies to ensure products are wellpresented, properly stocked, and attractively displayed in-store. This role supports sales and customer satisfaction by maintaining brand standards, optimising shelf space, and ensuring promotional materials are correctly placed.
Key Responsibilities:
? Ensure shelves are fully stocked with the correct products and neatly arranged at all times.
? Rotate stock according to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principles to minimise expiry and shrinkage.
? Execute visual merchandising standards as provided by Intrax.
? Set up promotional displays and signage as per marketing campaigns or seasonal promotions.
? Monitor product availability and inform relevant departments about low or out-of-stock items.
? Maintain cleanliness and organisation of display areas.
Requirements:
? Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
? Previous experience in retail or merchandising (1-2 years preferred).
? Knowledge of retail brands and merchandising techniques.
? Experience using handheld stock scanners or basic inventory tools (advantageous).
? Good eye for detail and visual presentation.
? Strong organisational and time management skills.
? Ability to follow merchandising guidelines accurately.
? Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move stock throughout the day.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
? Basic numeracy and ability to manage stock counts.
