Join our dynamic small team at Powersol (PTY) LTD, a wholesale distributor servicing the marine and automotive industries. We are currently seeking a motivated, organized, and reliable individual to fill the role of STORE MANAGER.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Stock Receiving/dispatching, Picking, Packing and Handling:

Accurately check incoming stock against supplier invoices Perform damage checks on received items and packaging Clearly sign off on sales invoices to confirm part number and serial number (where applicable) correlation. Picking and packing of orders for dispatch Operate handling equipment according to safety regulations. Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles as required. Carry out ad hoc stock counts, prepare for, and assist with annual stock takes.

General Warehouse Duties:

Maintain a neat, clean, and well-organized work area and warehouse. Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures. Report any health and safety hazards to the Team Leader and designated Safety Officer. Effectively communicate and work in a team environment. Perform general warehouse duties as necessary. Assist with daily delivery duties as required. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Competencies Required:

Matric, minimum. Valid driver's license B category or higher. Certified forklift operator 2.5T counter balance, minimum. Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English, with the ability to understand and communicate effectively in both languages. Microsoft Office and Sage Pastel Partner proficient. Demonstrated willingness to collaborate and assist colleagues, customers and their representatives. Possess physical fitness for tasks that involve standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects. Exhibit a high level of attention to detail, ensuring precision in tasks such as picking and packing. Ability to work well independently, showing initiative and self-motivation. Focus on identifying and solving challenges efficiently to contribute to a seamless workflow. Strong communication skills to interact positively with diverse individuals, courier companies, and colleagues. Consistent ability to follow instructions and apply common sense in daily tasks. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and responsibilities. Must be able to count and demonstrate strong numerical abilities.
