So, what will you do?

You'll lead the charge, delivering numerous retail-ready iKhokha stores over the next 12 months that serve as Sales, Education, and Support Hubs for iKhokha Merchants.

You will be responsible for the xe2x80x9cend-to-endxe2x80x9d store creation process which includes: sourcing store locations, co-creation design mock-ups with a dedicated designer, managing construction teams tasked with store prep work, and ensuring that the production bill of materials (BOM) for the job is on time and in budget. One of the key aspects of your role will be hands-on management of the installation of approved design elements to ensure the result is accurately installed in line with expectations and approved mock-ups.

Sourcing 12 new iKhokha stores

• Contribute to national distribution strategy discussion
• Identify appropriate stores in targeted regions
• Negotiate with the landlord on terms of contract and rental.

Store preparation & design

• Understand the work and costs required to create the xe2x80x9cyellow boxxe2x80x9d of the iKhokha Store
• Source and manage a team of contractors to conclude the work on time and within budget.
• Work with a designer to best utilize the store space.
• Present store design mock-ups and customer flow examples
• Present costings and material utilization
• Manage material production timelines to coincide with shopfitting dates and ultimately store go-live dates.

Shopfitting

• Manage and work within the shopfitting team to execute the store shop fit.
• The Build Manager expected to be on-site for all installations
• Execute the store shopfitting to a high degree of accuracy and in line with approved designs.
• Not being afraid to repeat a task if itxe2x80x99s not done to appropriate quality standards.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Under Graduate Diploma advantageous

Deal Breakers:

• Great people skills with the ability to connect with anybody and everybody
• Experience in branding and signage materials in terms of cost, sizing, durability, usage and best installation
• Knowledge of basic construction processes
• Proficient in usage of smartphone technology, Microsoft office as well as relevant project management software such as Jira, Wrike or Trello
• Excellent communication skills (a good command of the English language) Zulu / Xhosa extremely beneficial
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Pro-active
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to rework an aspect of the build if itxe2x80x99s not working in the store
• Flexible to work outside of normal working hours
• Flexible to travel twice a month
