Stock Yard Assistant

Job Description
We are seeking a stock-yard assistant at our Meyerton/Midvaal brick plant. If you have a knack for figures and you can be depended on to always report correct calculated and counted figures, we want you on our team.

19-30Experience:
Not required - on the job training providedAdvantageous:
Stock control, forklift, brick testing, basic experience with drills, grinders, etc.Clean credit & criminal record required
References (2-3)
from past employers preferred (direct manager and that of the personnel department)Key Duties:
Coordinate the issuing/loading of various building products
Weighbridge operating: Bulk raw materials
Offloading of raw materials
Product quality control: Test and report various building products for size and strength requirements.
Perform daily equipment and safety inspections to ensure equipment integrity
Assist plant supervisors with equipment maintenance on maintenance days
Conduct toolbox talks on production, quality, and safety
Skills Needed:
Ability to work under pressure Good communication skills Quality-focused
