Purpose of the Job
To accurately document the receipt of goods and compare actual invoices with goods received. To control the processes within receiving. Two positions are available. Key Performance Areas:
- Oversee Staff
- Implement Stock control strategy
- Cycle count execution monitoring
- Stock take results achieved
Job Category Logistics
Job Objectives
- Manage Storage capacity in designated department
- Ensuring FIFO system adhered to
- Monitor inventory discrepancies and the action of such (Stock Investigations)
- Daily cycle counts maintained
- Ensure no stock on hold
- Execute weekly cycle count report
- Bi-yearly stock take implemented
- Ensure all Stock take prep is implemented for an easier count
- Ensure general housekeeping of sector maintained, including labelling of bins
Experience
- 2 xe2x80x93 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in receiving goods xe2x80xa2Supervision experience an added advantage
- Experience in a similar environment and industry an added advantage
- Pharmaceutical product knowledge an added advantage xe2x80xa2Computer Literacy - Google Suite xe2x80xa2Verbal and Written Communication xe2x80xa2Numeracy skills xe2x80xa2Working towards deadlines xe2x80xa2Attention to detail
