Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Stock Management:

monitor stock levels to ensure product availability while avoiding overstocking. Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and implement reorder procedures as necessary.

Supplier Coordination:

Act as the liaison between the company and suppliers -manage relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Order Processing:

Oversee the receipt of goods, ensuring that incoming stock matches orders and is stored properly. This includes comparing items received against items ordered.

Data Analysis:

Utilize stock management tools to track stock levels, generate reports, and analyze data to forecast future stock requirements. Provide actionable insights to management based on stock trends.

Quality Control:

Ensure that received and stored products meet quality standards, addressing any discrepancies or damage with suppliers promptly.

Problem Solving

: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of stock, and develop strategies to minimize losses and optimize inventory management processes.

Data Management

: Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock management systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments including production and sales, to ensure that stock levels align with business needs and customer demand.

Skills Required:

Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper stock management. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret stock data and make informed decisions based on trends Communication Skills: Effectively interact with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with stock management systems and relevant software and tools.
