Job Description

Our Client, a well known packaging Manufacturer is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacancy of Stock Controller.

You will coordinate all activities related to the planning & administration function.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Handovers from production

• Posting & receiving of handovers on system (NAV)
• Running comparison report & investigate handover variances

Stock Control

• Perform daily stock counts
• Reconcile weekly & monthly stock takes on system (NAV)
• Repair & writing off damaged stock, as well as moving it to the Non Conformance Area
• Transfer damage stock to QA-JHB on system
• Create write-off journals

General

• Handle all QA related issues and
• Weekly FIFO checking
• Compile monthly slow moving stock report (All items)
• Assist in physical activities in warehouse when required

Time Management

• Ensure that duties are efficient and effectively done in the appropriate time frame

Health & Safety

• Adhere to all health & safety procedures, ensuring all work are done in a safe, efficient & effective manner.
• Report all incidents and unsafe practices to Supervisor / Manager

Housekeeping

• Ensure that work station / works area, including canteen & restrooms, are neat & tidy at all
• Cleaning & maintain works area daily

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate will have previous accounting/administration/planning experience
• Matrix with mathxe2x80x99s
• Must have a positive attitude and commitment to
• Must be a team player and able to work independently
• Articulate in written and spoken English & Afrikaans
• Forklift license
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills
• Have an eye for detail
• Be computer literate Microsoft Office and Navision
• Have a numerical flair Must be able to prioritize and meet
• Must be able to function in a fast paced environment
