Job Description

Stock Controller - Howick
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to ensure the efficient management, accuracy, and flow of inventory throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities

Manage and reconcile daily counts and full-stock counts
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
Conduct daily cycle counts and ensure all counts are reconciled by the end of each day
Operate warehouse handling equipment while strictly following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ensure that physical stock matches the bin locations in the system
Complete all put-away tasks in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure all items are allocated to a bin on the MRP system and are accurate
Maintain FIFO principles
Handle and manage all stock transfers
Removing all damaged, and obsolete stock from the shelves
Ensure that all shelves, passageways, bins, and stock are always clean
Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health safety procedures
Assist with invoicing and dispatching of orders

Requirements

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory trends and data
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and inventory software tools
