The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring the store is correctly stocked and that all stock movement within the store is properly controlled in order to ensure a brilliant customer experience.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

Overseeing the movements of all stock in and out of the warehouse. Ensuring the storeroom stock levels are always correct. Receiving all stock accurately and GRN'd efficiently into the system. Ensuring that all stock leaving the store follows the correct process and is signed off. Oversee the picking and packing of stock for dispatch notes. Investigating any variances in stock, identifying root causes, and providing solutions. Ensuring the storeroom is kept neat and tidy. Pulling stock for use on the depot floor.

The experience we're looking for:

Experience in a related role is an advantage. Computer literate; MS Excel, MS Word experience. Great organisational skills essential. Strong Attention to detail. Is fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is organised, systematic, works to a plan and gets "stuck in" to get the job done on time. Prides themselves on their attention to detail. Meticulous about ensuring all admin is up to date, completely accurate and under control. Understands the importance of deadlines and can work accurately and efficiently under pressure and with a sense of urgency. Someone who can work well within a team and holds everyone accountable to their commitments. Uses their initiative, has their finger on the pulse, is pro-active in all that is required.
