Multi-National successful and growing importer and distributor of high-end quality products in hardware retail sector is looking for a Stock Analyst. The position is open in Cape Town (Southern Suburbs) or Johannesburg (Randburg)
Requirements

• Cape Town candidates need to reside within 30 minutes of Westlake.

Johannesburg candidates need to reside within 45 minutes of Randburg.

• At least 3 years experience dealing with third party logistics (3PL) service providers.
• Experience with at least 700 SKU's.
• Computer literacy: Excel (pivot tables & Vlookups), MS Word and Outlook.

• Must be positive, have a can-do attitude with problem-solving skills and be able to think ahead.
• Ability to work well under pressure and remain positive.
• Good communication skills.

Highly Advantageous

• Experience with Acumatica (stock & accounting software).
• Undergraduate or equivalent diploma.
• FMCG experience.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders from director and monitor the shipping register.
• Perform imported stock costings, load costs into Acumatica and book stock in.
• Liaising with the logistics service provider to continuously improve reverse logistics and ensuring stock returns are all received.
• The stock system is live and integrated with the third party's system hence it is crucial to keep stock records up to date for both systems to agree.
• Think ahead by monitoring stock levels and add value to the forecasting process.
• Liaise and reconcile the stock system to the third party's logistics' system and investigate any discrepancies.
• Track stock using the third party logistic online portal.
• Prepare weekly stock reports to identify low and out-of-stock items for the reps.
• Prepare month end reports including reconciling the inventory module to the trial balance.
• Maintain records of obsolete and slow-moving stock.
• Co-ordinate stock counts between all 3 warehouses.
• Kit conversions & arrange for damaged stock to be repackaged.
• Liaise with the accounts department regarding credits being passed for returns from customers.
