Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience as a rolling operator in the metal sector
- Strong understanding of rolling processes, material properties and quality standards
- Comfortable working rotating shifts
- Safety focused with a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement
- Operate steel rolling mills to shape steel to required specification
- Make machine adjustments to ensure product quality and dimensional accuracy
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections throughout the rolling process
- Perform start-up, changeovers and shutdown procedures efficiently and safely
- Work closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and production schedules
