Statutory Compliance Assistant xe2x80x93 Cape Town CBD

Statutory Compliance Assistant, preferably with previous experience in an Accounting and Auditing Firm, required to assist with all statutory requirements and administration re annual returns, deed searches, CIPC documents and submission, FICA compliance, dividend declarations, Auditor's reports and audit queries for an Accounting and Auditing Firm based in Cape Town CBD.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric essential
• Tertiary qualification beneficial
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience required, preferably in an Accounting/Auditing Firm

Responsibilities:

• Annual returns - submission to CIPC for Companies and Close Corporations
• Deed searches using Windeed
• Lodgement of documents to CIPC and Master of the High Court
• FICA compliance and e-FICA Agent
• Dividend declarations - preparation of resolutions for companies/close corporations
• Auditor's/Accounting Officer's reports and factual finding reports
• Audit queries from Audit Clerks
• Confirmations of directors/shareholders/trustees/addresses etc to clients, banking institutions or attorneys
• Prepare general correspondence, email communication, minutes and resolutions
• Liaising with CIPC, clients and Master of High Court
• Maintain registers and minute books
