Statutory Accounting And Control Manager

Job Description
One of the largest manufacturing companies in the world is currently on the lookout for a Statutory Accounting and Control Manager (CA(SA)) in Midrand. They need someone that has strong IFRS and reporting experience.
Some duties include:
- Review the month-end trial balance.
- Review financial analyses as input into the monthly submission to Group Office on the statutory reporting platform.
- Draft, review and provide input into specialised notes in the annual financial statements for entities in the SA statutory group structure, to provide context and completeness to the financial statements.
- Facilitate the implementation and co-ordinate all activities associated with any accounting standard changes.
- Review monthly General Ledger (GL) reconciliations.
- Consolidate inputs, draft the annual budget.
- BCom Honours degree in Accounting or Financial Management.
- Chartered Accountant of South Africa (CA(SA))
- Big 4 articles.
- 6-8 years post article experience in financial management.
- Experience in statutory reporting and financial statement preparation would be advantageous.
- Experience in employee share trust administration would be advantageous.
