A leading international company in the vegetable seed industry, known for its people-focused culture and commitment to innovation, has a vacancy for a Station Manager - Vegetable Seed Industry. With operations in many countries all over the world, they develop and distribute high-quality vegetable varieties that contribute to sustainable agriculture, global food security, and the health and well-being of communities worldwide.

Your Role
The company is acquiring a trial station and office in Centurion. You will be part of a team responsible for planning and executing infrastructure upgrades, including on offices, greenhouses, net houses and other facilities.
Once the initial projects are completed, your role will shift to managing a team responsible for growing and execution of various vegetable trials on-site. The position offers a broad scope of responsibilities such as hosting national and international visitors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and building strong relationships with your colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
This is a new position at their South African facility, offering the opportunity to shape and grow a key part of their local operations.
Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering or Project Management.
• At least five years of relevant experience
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Well-developed leadership qualities
• Strong ethical standards
