Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions and engagement activities in a centralised database (Sharepoint).
Prepare detailed reports on stakeholder feedback, MPRDA, NEMA, NWA, and UPRDA compliance efforts (e.g., SLP implementation), and ESG compliance for senior management review.
Track key metrics related to ESG performance, such as emissions reductions and power and water resource management.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Development Studies, Environmental Science, Social Science, Political Science, Communications or a related field. Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years experience in stakeholder relations within the oil and gas or extractive industries.
Proficiency in English and at least one local language relevant to the area of operation (list the languages required)
Additional Requirements
Valid drivers license for travel to remote sites.
Flexibility to work irregular hours as required by community engagements or emergencies.
Flexibility to travel and stay overnight for periods of time while executing projects and managing stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Key Perfomance Indicators
Compliance with MPRDA, NEMA, NWA, and UPRDA and associated regulations including SLP implementation.
Effectiveness of stakeholder engagement strategies measured through feedback surveys.
Successful implementation of community development projects aligned with ESG goals within budget timelines.
Reduction in grievances or conflicts among stakeholders through proactive issue management, as well as time taken to resolve the grievances.
Positive perception of the company among stakeholders based on sentiment analysis related to ESG commitments.
