Requirements



Grade 12 3 Years Facilitation experience Computer literacy Assessor and Moderator Certificate Qualified Firearm Instructor, Assessor, and Moderator in

the Firearm training.



Knowledge of Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act No. 60 of

2000)



In depth application of the Professional Firearms

Training Council, and SAQA procedures, systems and all



relevant legislation



No criminal record Not be declared unfit to possess a firearm

Key Performance Areas



To ensure compliance with legislation, range rules as well as

SOP's set by NRCS, PFTC and SASSETA, and that all training



activities are properly recorded



Ensure the safety of all (learners, facilitator and other staff) at

the shooting range



Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the firearms

as well as the maintenance of the shooting range



Performs Range specific duties to ensure compliance with

legislation, range rules as well as SOP's set by the NRCS PFTC



and SASSETA, and all training activities are properly recorded



Managing training and skills development and the transfer of

skills and knowledge
