Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the MTN SADC regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Manage and grow strategic relationships with MTN Group and key stakeholders across South Africa and SADC markets.
Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Drive strategic account planning and manage CX-level engagements to deliver business outcomes.
Achieve and exceed annual sales quotas of $10M+ through effective pipeline management and deal closure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Delivery) to ensure customer success and solution adoption.
Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting using CRM tools and analytics platforms.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share in Telecommunications solutions (Digital, Messaging, CVM, BSS, Fintech).
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3+ years in a sales leadership role.
Proven success in managing $10M+ annual quotas and delivering consistent revenue growth.
Strong experience in Telecommunication Solutions (Digital, Messaging, CVM, BSS, Fintech).
Prior engagement with MTN Group and South Africa markets.
Ability to manage CX-level relationships and influence strategic decisions.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with a data-driven, execution-focused mindset.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics platforms.
Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience in SADC regional markets beyond South Africa.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and digital transformation trends in telecom.
Exposure to Fintech solutions and mobile financial services.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business or Sales Management
