The Links Golf Course Maintenance department is now accepting applications for a
Spray Technician
- someone who can add his / her skills to the team and that takes great pride and pleasure in caring for our golf courses.We consider the following as essential:
Qualifications & Experience:
Grade 10 or equivalent, Must have a valid driver's license, Experience in operating mowing and spraying equipment, Must have gained at least 1 years of golf course maintenance experience, Must have good hand-eye coordination, be able to work with machinery and grass, An introductory course in the use of chemicals and a pest control officer qualification will be an added advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities (areas and indicators listed are not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time):
Application of chemicals to greens, fairways, tees and other areas of the golf course, Mixing of chemicals and fertilizers, Keeping the chemicals store clean, neat and locked at all times, Maintaining a record of chemicals used, Controlling and ensuring cleanliness and safety of all spraying equipment.
Adverse working conditions:
Must be prepared to work weekends & Public holidays, Must be prepared to work outside in inclement weather.
