The Role
The Sportsbook Content Team Leader is responsible for leading our SA Sportsbook Content team to ensure the accurate, timely, and consistent delivery of betting content across all platforms. This role is critical in executing the content strategy, enhancing the customer journey, and supporting the overall sportsbook experience. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to lead and develop the content team, drive operational efficiency, and maintain the highest standards of content quality.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the SA Sportsbook Content team during allocated shifts and coordinate the daily workflow.
Monitor the SA Sportsbook app and website, ensuring all betting content is delivered accurately and on schedule.
Manage key content configurations, including banners, coupons, homepage widgets, and quick links.
Manage real-time content escalations and resolve issues promptly to minimise customer impact.
Create and manage staffing rotas to ensure adequate coverage for business needs.
Regularly test all key customer journeys to ensure a first-class customer experience.
Conduct regular 1:1s, set objectives, and manage team performance to foster growth.
Continuously assess team skills, identify training needs, and mentor junior team members.
Lead initiatives to automate content workflows and improve CMS efficiency.
Ensure all betting rules are accurate and up to date.
Key Skills and Experience
Excellent knowledge of sports and betting products.

Proven experience in a Sportsbook operational environment with content management responsibilities.
Excellent understanding of sports and betting/settlement rules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to delegate effectively.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and a desire to self-develop.
Proactive in quickly identifying issues and potential solutions.
Highly collaborative, work well as part of a team and understand the team and business priorities.
Demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines.
