Sports Teacher

to join the school from

1 January 2026

The

Sports Teacher

will guide boys of all skill levels in developing a love for physical activity and sports, while also nurturing confidence and a lifelong passion for sports within a supportive and encouraging environment.

Duties (not an exhaustive list):

Teach Physical Education and Sports lessons as per the academic timetable Involvement with the Junior and Senior Prep Sports Programme - coaching and officiating (weekdays and weekends) Coach and umpire as required Assist with all Sports Demonstrations and Sporting Events Assist with teaching certain academic lessons

Qualifications and Experience:

A relevant tertiary qualification and SACE Registration Experience in coaching and officiating several different sporting codes Own transport would be advantageous

Skills and Attributes:

Passion for education and sport Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure Excellent administrative skills The flexibility, ability and willingness to work outside school hours, when necessary A willingness to work as part of a team and team teach where required The intention to work according to the school's ethos, specifications and policies
