Specimen Receiving Clerk

Job Description
Receiving and Data capturing of all patient requests. Receiving patients samples. Ensure correct billing information captured onto laboratory information system. Assist the billing division with all queries. Demographic check on all patient requests. Add on tests to original request. Sending away referral specimens. Disinfect work area and complete decontamination log. Storage of samples with the LIMS Prelink. Perform outstanding's for all Projects samples. Ensure Projects Department consumables are adequately stocked. Complete laboratory assistant data verification checks weekly. Perform shift duties as per roster. Client services
Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12 Must have a BSc qualification Must have 2-3 years experience Data capturing background. Must be Computer Literate The candidate will be required to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as this is a 24-hour facility. Must have own reliable transport.
