Job Summary We have an exciting job opportunity for a Specialist: SCM (Supply Chain Management) Trade desk for our client in the Telecommunication space. This is an independent contract offers a hybrid-working model for a 5-month period. In this role, you will assist in the monetizing of tactical cost savings opportunities for local regional SCM categories via agile ways of working; as well providing input into and support to the local and regional tactical category savings. Experience, qualification and knowledge required for the role will include: Matric relevant certificate qualification could be advantageous. 2 yearsxc3xa2xe2x82xac experience in procurement. A Proven track record of delivery against challenging targets Experience with agile ways of working Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal Demonstrable negotiation skills Supply Chain BBBEE Procurement Strategy Analytical skills You will be responsible for the following areas of work: Impact on the business - Agile delivery of regional local level 3 tactical sourcing activities. Provides input into business reporting as defined by Supply Chain goals and objectives. Participate in sourcing negotiations with tactical suppliers via collaboration with internal stakeholders category managers to ensure business requirements are met. Teamwork - Cross SCM category support. Innovation and change - Provides input into defining innovative regional local category strategies. Support the delivery of tactical savings.
