Aufgaben
Objective:
To provide a product planning support function according to specified processes in order to optimize market share, profitability and customer appeal while controlling related costs. In addition, to build and maintain brand usage and performance in compliance to the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.
Main Tasks
Manage and Control New Model Introductions:
Compile market and competitor analysis for new model introduction and current model enhancements, to compile all viability and feasibility studies for new and existing models in line with overall MB Vans product strategy and equipment adjusted pricing done, for all models' vs competition.
Vehicle specification, pricing and positioning:
To prepare and develop vehicle specifications and pricelists with marketing/external supplier. To analyze competitive intelligence and price adjusted studies in relation to MB Vans overall product and brand strategy.
Product, Liaison and Assistance:
Attend to all customer and dealer/agent queries timeously. Provide assistance and information related to products, pricing and positioning of Vans products.
Master coded execution list:
To extract and accurately compile/load all master data product information for MB Vans and to actively manage changes this on a daily basis, to ensure that new projects relating to product technology or models are managed in a timely and efficient way to achieve project/market induction milestones.
Dealer & Customers Engagement:
Visit high contribution dealers. Identify customer requirements/needs and implement required/appropriate action, analyze the market to determine opportunities to enter new segments and grow in current segments. Build relationships with dealers as well as other suppliers.
Vehicle Point of Sales and Training Material support:
To provide accurate and competitive product information by verifying specifications and vehicle positioning for agents/ dealer POS, USP and training as developed by product & marketing and the training academy, respectively.
Specific knowledge, skills and attributes:

Product knowledge with technical background
Experience:
3 - 5 years' relevant experience
