Specialist - Learning Experience Designer
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng / Hybrid.
One of the leading financial regulators are seeking to employ an experienced Specialist Learning Experience Designer.
Position Overview:
The Learning Experience Designer (LED) is responsible for both the pedagogical and technical aspects of creating the organisation's courses for classroom, technology-based and blended learning environments.
While not necessarily a subject matter expert, the LED will work with Learning and Development Professionals, Training Officers and other subject matter experts, where necessary, but will be ultimately responsible for the development and quality control of the organisation's course content.
The Learning Experience Designer (LED) will investigate and guide the creation of high-impact and high-value learning experiences and journeys that help learners fulfil prioritised learning requirements in a user-centred and goal-directed manner, in line with the defined institution learning journey and experience.
The LED plays a strategic role in shaping the direction and effectiveness of learning initiatives.
Experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education, instructional Design.
• Minimum of 6 years' Specialist experience in the Learning Design Environment with at least 3 years focusing on Developing Learning Objectives in alignment with organisational goals.
• Experience leading the design and development of Learning Programmes in the public sector or a professional services environment, preferably an auditing environment.
