Auto Pedigree is looking for an Insurance Agent based at their Head Office in Spartan, Kempton Park.This position is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to make use of their leadership and business acumen, and insurance experience to drive the achievement of the department's targets and advance Auto Pedigree's business interests within the insurance space. The position reports to the Insurance Supervisor.

Position Overview
The main focus of the position is to support and assist the department to retain insurance products as well as to proactively service clients.

Specific Role Responsibilities
Rendering quantity and quality of insurance quotes.
Interview clients to obtain data about their insurance needs
Ensure clients are informed of the features, advantages and disadvantages of automotive insurance policies
Manage customer situations
Respond promptly to the needs of the customer and solicit feedback to improve service
Respond to requests for service or assistance from the branches
Identify and escalate priority issues ensuring customer escalation is managed and feedback is provided.
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
Accurately recording client's information on the Quoting Engine
Assist clients and dealers with amendments on insurance policies
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all aspects of insurance standard operating procedures

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Experience
2 years of customer service experience
2-3 years' experience in short-term insurance brokering (personal/domestic lines)

A code 08 unendorsed driver's license and own transport
Computer literate( Word & Excel)
Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills
