Job Purpose

To provide an efficient and effective Employee Wellbeing consultancy service to SAA Technical. To improve the overall health, happiness, and performance of employees through targeted support, programs, and strategies.

Principal Accountabilities

COUNSELLING SERVICES

Establish, provide and maintain a professional counselling service.



Identify appropriate external support system.



Ensure compliance with legal and professional requirements.

MANAGE WELLNESS PROGRAMS

Identify trends and develop appropriate intervention strategies



Monitor effectiveness of programs



Engage relevant stakeholder regarding effectiveness

MANAGE THE SAAT HIV AND AIDS PROGRAM

Ensure adequate awareness



Provide education and training



Support lifestyle management programmes

ABSENTEEISM MANAGEMENT

Identify problem areas



Ensure existence of control mechanism



Ensure compliance with SAAT policies and procedures

EMPLOYEE WELLNESS

Consistently and appropriately respond to employee's needs and concern



Work with interdisciplinary team to achieve the highest level of functioning of employees



Provide therapy duties in all settings across the continuum of care



Manage department performance to ensure overall compliance with the attainment of goals.



Maintain all department reports, statistics and records system complaint with policies and a broad spectrum of legislation.

Qualifications & Experience

HR Degree / Social Science Degree



Minimum of 2 years' Experience in Professional Counselling



Driver's license (Code B)



PC Literate - MS Office package.

Knowledge and Skills

Report writing skills



Assessment skills



Program design and implementation.



Project management.
