A world-class boutique safari lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve is seeking a versatile and professional Spa Therapist & Front of House Assistant to join their team. This unique hybrid role blends spa expertise with guest relations, hosting, and administrative duties -- ideal for a hospitality all-rounder who thrives in an intimate, luxury lodge environment.

The successful candidate will deliver professional spa treatments while also supporting front-of-house operations, guest hosting, and general lodge administration. This hands-on position is perfect for someone looking to grow in luxury hospitality, working closely with a small, dedicated team to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of spa treatments including massages, facials, body wraps, and beauty therapies.
• Manage spa setup, stock control, and daily administration.
• Assist with front-of-house duties including guest check-ins, hosting, and high tea service.
• Handle curio shop sales and stock takes.
• Conduct room checks and assist with guest arrivals when required.
• Support the management team in daily operations to ensure service excellence.

Package & Benefits

• Salary: R8,000 - R9,000 per month, based on experience.
• 10% commission on spa treatments plus inclusion in general staff gratuities.
• Live-in accommodation (single, furnished).
• Meals and uniform provided.
• Work cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
• 21 days annual leave per annum.
• Medical Aid (Discovery KeyCare) - 100% employer contribution after 3 months.
• Provident Fund - 5% employer and 5% employee contribution.
• No pets, partners, or dependents permitted.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1-year Somatology Diploma (ITEC, CIDESCO, CIBTAC, or SAAHSP).
• Minimum 3 years' spa or beauty experience, preferably in a 5-star or bush lodge environment.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Computer literate; experience with PAN Hospitality System advantageous.
• Professional, well-presented, and able to multitask.
• Must have own reliable transport and be comfortable working hospitality hours.
