Job Summary
SPA SUPERVISOR
SABIE (Bushveld), Mpumalanga (ZA)
START: A.SAP / 01 August 2025
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

• Hospitality hours apply Monday to Sunday
• Shift Cycle: 6-weeks ON / 1-week OFF
• Flexibility is key

REPORT TO: Hotel GM / Owner
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS

• R8,000 Basic Salary per month
• 10% Service Commission
• 15% Retail Commission (sliding scale)
• Staff accommodation (own room with shared amenities)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * South African citizen

• CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP recognized accreditation preferred
• DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology (2-year qualification minimum)
• Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back
• Beautifully groomed and looking the part of a 5-star therapist
• Supervisory / senior therapist experience
• Computer literate and experience using Spa Software for bookings & reports
• Able to do basic reporting (daily reports, stock reportst etc.)
• Experience required of at least 3 years in a luxury lodge or resort environment.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel) and professional email etiquette.
• Own reliable car for travel preferred.

EXPERIENCE: * Bushveld OR Resort Spa experience preferred

• Confident in Skin Care & Body Care as well as basic administration
• Holistic Wellness approach favorable

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: * A team leader self-motivated to achieve financial and operational goals to ensure the seamless and successful operation of the spa

• Performs exemplary professional treatments in accordance with company protocols.
• Consistently meet and exceed set revenue targets, including minimum 15% Retail to Turnover.
• Manage and execute administrative duties such as daily cash-ups, appointment bookings, marketing, and stock take.
• Projects enthusiasm for working in a multi-cultural environment resulting in a positive and healthy team culture.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to understand and address all guest needs.
• Dedicated to own health & wellness committing to the role, responsibilities, and wellbeing of the team.
