Salary: R20 000 R22 000 per month with incentive commissions
Starting Date: 1 October 2023
with Key Performance Areas:
ADMINISTRATION

  • Time sheet is planned and faxed to Head Office monthly.
  • Weekly and daily revenue summaries are checked.
  • Daily and weekly occurrences are recorded.
  • Commission summaries are complete.
  • Staff participation in your responsibilities.
  • Meeting agenda and minutes are planned, and all points followed up daily and weekly.
  • Weekly staff operational meeting to be held to discuss all issues.
  • General organizing and liaising to all concerned with the successful daily operations of the spa.
MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP OF SPA STAFF
  • General co-ordination / delegation / participation.
  • Staff training to constantly ensure staff standards are always correct including treatments.
  • Staff communication to ensure it is open / constructive and all issues raised are dealt with promptly and professionally.
  • Constant and productive staff motivation / targets are achieved.
  • Staff appraisals / disciplinary enquiries are held regularly and all applicable paperwork is correctly filled out and filed for easy access
  • Staff records are kept daily.
  • Staff conduct to ensure staff abide by rules / regulations and procedures set. You are responsible for their conduct.
  • Staff advertising / newsletters.
  • Staff are informed on all treatments, products, and general information.
  • No staff to hang around the reception desk, talking and waiting for clients.
  • Staff are always presentable and conduct themselves accordingly.
  • Assist in recruitment & selection.
ENSURE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE SPA
  • Performing all treatments reaching your targets and setting a standard for all staff to follow.
  • Client relations (dealing with customer complaints and queries).
  • Reception ensuring all calls are dealt with professionally, all cancellations are rescheduled.
  • Calls are answered promptly.
  • All staff answers the telephone correctly and can inform guests on all info pertaining to the spa.
  • A staff member is available at reception constantly.
  • Music is kept and is played in the treatment rooms constantly.
  • Guests are dealt with promptly and professionally.
  • All guests are assisted immediately upon entering the reception area.
  • All treatment rooms to be kept clean weekly port clean.
  • Spa standard and professionalism is always maintained and improved upon constantly.
  • Guests are always assisted and encouraged to come back.
  • Hosting clients in the spa and being available to answer all queries. A
  • Always being on the spa premises when not performing treatments being available for guests and promoting spa and performing your admin work in the spa.
  • Spa clients are constantly monitored and encouraged to become regular clients.
MANAGEMENT OF THE SALES & REVENUE FOR THE SPA
  • Daily Product Sales and assisting other staff members to increase their daily product sales and implementing training to assist them.
  • Implementing promotions and liaising with the Head Office.
  • Group conferences are booked / promoted / planned / followed up etc.
  • Implementing marketing / public relations / advertising and promotions.
  • Monthly revenue targets are achieved.
MANAGEMENT OF THE EXPENSES & LOGISTICS OF THE SPA
  • Overseeing weekly and monthly stock take and placing product orders.
  • Ensuring the ambience of the spa is always soft, professional, and quiet. All staff to talk quietly in and around the spa.
  • Ensuring spa is always immaculate / music is played / voices are kept low.
  • Ensuring that the budget figures, both expenses and target are monitored, and necessary procedure implemented to achieve such figures.
  • Submitting Capex for equipment for spa
  • Accountable for Assistant Managers responsibilities
  • Any other supplementary task or duty that's reasonably necessary to carry out the main function or duty of the job, or any task or duty reasonably required by you, forms part of the employee's job description.
