Position: Spa Manager



Business Unit: Glasshouse Rejuvenation



ROLE PURPOSE



The Spa Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of Glasshouse Rejuvenation, ensuring high standards of clinical care, operational efficiency, staff discipline, payroll support, and revenue growth. The role combines hands-on aesthetic treatments with strong people management, sales leadership, and administrative oversight in support of HR and business objectives.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



1. Clinical & Aesthetic Services



Perform advanced aesthetic treatments including facials, laser therapy, chemical peels, microneedling, and skin rejuvenation services. Conduct client consultations, assessments, and post-treatment care. Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards. Stay updated on industry trends and treatment protocols.

2. Staff Management, Discipline & Leadership



Lead, supervise, train, and mentor therapists and support staff. Manage staff performance, attendance, and behaviour. Conduct counselling sessions and initiate disciplinary processes in line with company policy and labour legislation. Prepare and submit disciplinary and performance documentation to HR. Create and manage staff schedules to ensure operational efficiency.

3. Payroll, Timesheets & HR Support



Prepare, verify, and submit accurate staff timesheets for payroll processing. Monitor attendance, overtime, commissions, and leave records. Assist HR with payroll queries, corrections, and supporting documentation. Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information at all times.

4. Sales & Business Development



Drive revenue through treatment sales, retail products, and client retention. Upsell and cross-sell services and skincare products. Monitor sales performance and KPIs. Support promotional and marketing initiatives.

5. Recruitment & Onboarding Support



Assist with recruitment through shortlisting, interviews, and hiring recommendations. Support onboarding, induction, and probation monitoring of new employees. Provide performance feedback to HR during probation periods.

6. Operations & Client Experience



Oversee daily spa operations, stock control, and equipment maintenance. Ensure high levels of customer service and client satisfaction. Resolve client complaints professionally and promptly. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

GENERAL



This role is not limited to the duties listed above and may be adjusted in line with business needs. The Spa Manager holds a position of trust and is expected to act ethically and in the best interest of the business.
