What you will enjoy doing

As a SOX & Internal Controls Manager, you will review and manage key risks, issues and dependencies in the internal control environment, specifically the (SOX)Sarbanes Oxley requirements from an internal control enterprise risk point of view In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Afrox's internal control environment You will act as a trusted partner to Finance, Operations, Internal Audit and senior leadership to ensure robust controls, efficient processes, and full compliance with SOX standards Leading the end-to-end SOX compliance programme, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and corporate frameworks will be high on your agenda You will be responsible for the annual coordination of SOX scoping, risk assessment, and control testing plans by developing control enhancements that support process optimisation and risk mitigation Oversee the design, documentation, and implementation of financial and operational controls

What makes you great

You have achieved B Com (Hons), Chartered Accountant (SA) with minimum 5 years' experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, internal audit, or external audit Strong knowledge of SOX methodologies, and risk management principles Demonstrated experience leading control frameworks within complex organisations Advanced analytical, problem?solving, and documentation skills Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities
