JOB TITLE: Food & Bus Readiness Coordinator (Light Duty - No Cooking)
LOCATION: Cape Town
CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed-Term (3-6 months)
WORKING DAYS: Wednesday to Sunday
SALARY: R16000 - R19000 per month
This is NOT a chef position. We are seeking a Food & Bus Readiness Coordinator to manage light food setup, presentation, hygiene, and overall bus readiness for a High Tea Sightseeing Bus.
All cakes and savouries are pre-made. No cooking is required onboard.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and check food and beverage deliveries
Set up cake stands and service displays
Prepare tea and coffee stations
Ensure food hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained
Conduct daily stock checks and preparation lists
Ensure the bus is clean, organised, and guest-ready before departure
Assist with post-service reset and basic cleanliness checks
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in food handling, catering, or hospitality
Strong hygiene and cleanliness awareness
Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented
Able to work independently and follow checklists
Consistent availability Wednesday to Sunday
Food safety knowledge advantageous
