A dynamic, high-end catering company known for exceptional food, flawless service, and memorable guest experiences are looking for a sous chef that could grow into an Executive Chef Position. As we move into our busy season, we're looking for a talented
Sous Chef / Head Chef
to support our culinary operations and help bring our events to life.Seasonal
Flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Must be able to start immediately
What You'll Do
As our Sous Chef / Head Chef, you will:
Support the Executive Chef in menu execution and kitchen leadership
Assist with prep, cooking, plating, and event execution
Help manage kitchen staff and maintain efficient workflows
Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet company standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
Assist with inventory, ordering, and event logistics as needed
Represent our brand with professionalism at on-site events
What We're Looking For
A minimum of 2 Years experience as a Sous Chef / Head Chef
. Must be able to think on their feet, and use their own initiative.
Background in catering, banquets, or A la Carte service is a plus
Strong culinary skills with attention to detail and presentation
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication + leadership skills
Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
Able to lift/carry equipment and stand for extended periods
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: R15000,00 - R25000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
