  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute innovative, high-quality menus.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen brigade to maintain a positive and productive working environment.
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in the preparation and presentation of dishes.
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to culinary standards.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor food safety and hygiene practices to guarantee a safe working environment.
  • Mentor and develop junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions to promote knowledge transfer and skill enhancement within the team.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and final dishes to uphold the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine recipes, ensuring a consistently exceptional dining experience.
  • Effectively communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for enhancing overall kitchen performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, trends, and flavors.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities with a track record of building and motivating successful kitchen teams.
  • Passion for culinary innovation and a creative approach to menu development.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
