Every great kitchen needs a second-in-command who keeps things running smoothly, even when the Head Chef steps away. At Kleinsky's, that's where our Sous Chef comes in.

We're looking for someone who can balance leadership with hands-on cooking. This might just be you if you pride yourself on leading by example, keeping standards high and supporting the team through busy service.

As a Sous Chef at Kleinsky's you'll:

Run the pass as your main station and ensure every plate leaves the kitchen on time and to standard Oversee mise en place and food preparation, maintaining consistency, freshness and presentation Work alongside the Head Chef to manage stock, inventory and supplier orders Lead, motivate and support the kitchen team while upholding a positive and professional environment Ensure all food meets health, safety and hygiene standards Manage and train new team members Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment Proactively resolve kitchen issues and communicate effectively with the front of house

What we're looking for:

At least 2 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen leadership role Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations Experience running the pass in a busy, high-volume kitchen Excellent organisational and time management skills Calm under pressure, with strong communication and leadership abilities Experience with MarketMan is a plus A genuine passion for food, teamwork and delivering a great guest experience
