Job Summary Hospitality and Outdoor - New Vacancy - Sous Chef 5-star Game Lodge - Madikwe - North West We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious 5-star game lodge in Madikwe . This is an exciting opportunity for a strong senior sous chef who is ready to step up and gain head chef experience in a luxury lodge environment. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences that reflect the lodge's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. Requirements - Minimum 3-5 years as a Sous Chef in a luxury lodge or fine dining environment; previous 5-star experience highly advantageous. - Ability to lead and motivate the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. - Assist in creating innovative menus that reflect seasonal and local ingredients. - Strong understanding of kitchen operations, stock control, and food cost management. - Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards. - Comfortable working in a remote lodge environment with a flexible approach to guest needs. - Creative flair and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Package - Salary: R16,200 per month - Travel Allowance: R180 - Provident Fund - Tips Share - Accommodation: Own en-suite room - Meals: Access to canteen with food rations and meals from the kitchen (for managers) Start Date: ASAP
