Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management
Must have experience in supplier/vendor selection and management, contract negotiation, and cost management
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct market analysis, evaluate supplier performance, and develop strategic sourcing plans will be required
Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is important for this role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive sourcing strategy.
Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and vendors.
Evaluating supplier and vendor capabilities, performance, and risks to develop
appropriate supplier selection and management plans.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations,
logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
of high-quality products.
Negotiating and finalising supplier agreements, contracts, and pricing to achieve
strategic goals and objectives.
Monitoring supplier and vendor performance metrics, including delivery, quality,
cost, and inventory levels.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing supply chain stability and reliability.
