Position Sommelier

Monthly Paid (x1)

Fixed Term Contract

A Sommelier must suggest suitable wines to pair with dishes on the menu that fits their tastes and compliment their food. The Sommelier must be an inspiring, empowering and results orientated leader with a passion for service excellence whilst maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding financial goals.

Along with Matric and a Certificate from Cape Wine Academy/WSET Level 2, you have 2 - 3 years wine tasting experience and applicable product knowledge in a 4* or equivalent environment. You have an in-depth knowledge of wines - grape varieties and regions, harvest times, climates, soils, and wine-making process and you have the ability to communicate and explain this to guests.

Youre known for your customer service, neat and professional appearance with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
