Must have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar client-facing role is essential
Knowledge of Azure or AWS Public Cloud and related cloud technologies will be required
Must have a high-level understanding of XML, JAVA, REST, SOAP etc, as well as MS-SQL
Working knowledge with APIs integration, including RESTful APIs are important
Must have previous experience in a traditional software development or Technical Pre-Sales
role
Experience in working with payment gateways is a major plus
Must be able to synthesize technical information and apply to business solutions
Must have extensive knowledge in Automation, especially Point of Sales as well as Cloud technologies
Ability to monetize solutions as well as create new product suites based on current trends will be advantageous
Must have a valid drivers license and be able to travel to clients
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing presales support including building scope of work, demos/POCs, RFI/RFP/RFQ
responses, technical/commercial offer and budget/cost estimates for customer implementations, and technical proposals.
Participating in client meetings and design workshops to collect and understand customer requirements and, translating them towards a technical solution by leveraging product knowledge and expertise.
Ensuring that prospective customers needs are correctly understood and proposing appropriate company product solutions and technical integration if necessary.
Identifying special requirements by prospective customers, initiating internal discussion around special requirements and collaborating with product and tech teams to evaluate the ability to meet these requirements.
Documenting solutions to be used for future reference, including technical and non-technical business process and user flows.
Creating client facing demo applications and contributing relevant content to the product team.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product rollouts and providing input on future feature sets and capabilities.
Escalating issues and proposing improvements to the Development, Product, and/or Operations teams.
Providing training to other teams as required.
Actively involved on critical deployments and issues ensuring the right priorities are set with the product team.
