Job Overview: Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Solutions Architect to join their team. As a Solutions Architect at the company, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between their business objectives and software development efforts. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing effective solutions that align with their strategic goals. This role is perfect for an individual with a solid understanding of coding, software development, project management and business.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and document end-to-end solutions that encompass software architecture, system integrations, and data flow.
• Serve as a liaison between the business side and the development team, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project goals.
• Conduct regular reviews of existing systems and propose improvements or updates to enhance performance and scalability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring alignment with best practices and coding standards.
• Utilize your knowledge of Java and other relevant technologies to contribute to the development process when necessary.
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeframe.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role.
• Solid understanding of software development, with proficiency in Java and related technologies.
• Previous experience in project management, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex technical challenges.
• Knowledge of financial technology and money transfer solutions is a plus.
• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

The position is based in office in Hermanus.

Salary offered CTC: Depending on experience, R20 000-R50 000 negotiable
