SUMMARY:
Solution Architect - Johannesburg - 1.3mil to R1.5mil per annum
POSITION INFO:
Our client is searching for a Solution Architect to join our growing Technology team. If you''re passionate about designing scalable, secure, and data-driven solutions while collaborating across teams, this role is for you!
Responsibilities

• Platform Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of our platform, architecture, and design.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with teams across the business to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design of scalable, reliable, and secure data solutions that align with client needs and business goals.

• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on best practices, frameworks, and technologies.
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to build integrated solutions.
• End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the full solution lifecycle--from design to deployment and testing.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend tools and technologies to enhance solution performance and scalability.
• Documentation & Training: Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and provide training when needed.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively.
Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,

, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or similar role.
Proven expertise in Azure technologies.
Strong background in software development, , and data science workflows. * Proficiency in .NET and Python.
Experience working under ISO 27001 & NIST compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with Big Data, DevOps, MLOps, cloud-based data storage, and data processing frameworks.
Understanding of machine learning and AI technologies.
Excellent communication skills--able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
The Reference Number for this position is NG60181 which is a Permanent position based in Pretoria offering a cost to company from R1.3mil up to R1.5mil per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
