Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Solar Site Manager with a passion for green energy, who will join our client's leading renewable energy projects company located in South Africa. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual who can manage every aspect of solar site operations from land acquisition, grid integration, project planning, and execution to commissioning. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the on-time and budget delivery of multiple solar projects. Our client offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team of experts who are committed to changing the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all components of solar projects from planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Manage all site activities and resources, including logistics, site inspections, contract administration, safety, and quality control.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules.
• Ensure project deliverables and milestones are met on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders including customers, contractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
• Manage and oversee the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures on site.
• Prepare and submit reports on project progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project management or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in solar site management.
• Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale solar projects.
• Knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Effective leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
