We're looking for a highly organized and hands-on Site Manager to oversee the on-site construction of solar mounting systems across South Africa. Whether it's a commercial rooftop, a solar carport, or a multi-megawatt ground mount, you'll be at the forefront of delivering clean energy projects--safely, efficiently, and with technical precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations and teams on active solar construction sites.
• Oversee installation of solar mounting structures (rooftop, ground mount, carport, and tracker systems).
• Coordinate civil works, material deliveries, and subcontractor activities.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain site compliance.
• Monitor construction progress and quality, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate regularly with engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Maintain accurate site diaries, reports, and handover documentation.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3-5 years experience in construction site management (solar or structural experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of civil and mechanical installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of OHS regulations and construction site safety practices.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationally.
• Construction management qualification or trade background is advantageous.
