Solar Sales Executive

Job Description


Our client in the solar energy industry based in Midrand is currently looking for a Solar Sales Executive.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell solar energy solutions.
  • New business development - this is a new division within the company and therefore looking for a self-starter.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets.
  • Establishment of new client base.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, weekly work plans and call reports.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • All administration around the sales function, including preparation of documentation, quotations, follow ups and lead administration.
Requirements:
  • 2 - 4 years demonstrated experience in obtaining sales leads in the solar/energy industry and other compatible businesses.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, ethically and target driven.
  • Own vehicle with a valid driverxe2x80x99s licence.
Renumeration:
  • R30 000 per month + commission.
