Job Summary
Qualifications and Experience
? Matric
? Some exposure to construction work (Solar PV preferred).
? Driver's License.
? Ability to lead a PV Installation Team (2-5 Technicians)
Preferred skills
? Ability to demonstrate high levels of professionalism.
? Good leadership qualities.
? Good OHS understanding and File maintenance skills.
? Inclination to a practical, hands-on approach.
? Must be able to manage a team of installation technicians.
? Reporting ability.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities
? Planning of teams daily activities.
? Material management on site.
? Material requests for site.
? Communicating site challenges to construction manager.
? Planning of material needed 1 week in advance.
? Completing tool checklists daily.
? Completing hand tool inspection registers.
? On site quality control.
? Reporting of onsite progress.
? Daily diary and Safety File maintenance.
? Receiving and checking of material deliveries.
