Job Description
Are you passionate about empowering the next generation of IT professionals? We're looking for an enthusiastic Software Trainer to join our client's dynamic academic team at their Bushbuckridge campus.
In this role, you'll play a key part in helping students develop the technical skills and confidence needed to thrive in the IT industry. You'll deliver engaging lessons, guide students through hands-on projects, and inspire them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate interactive software training sessions across various IT programmes.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and learning aids aligned with course outcomes.
- Deliver both theoretical and practical instruction on relevant software applications and tools.
- Guide students through projects and assessments to build technical competence.
- Provide one-on-one academic support and mentorship to students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Keep course content current with industry trends and software updates.
- Collaborate with fellow trainers and academic staff to ensure quality learning delivery.
- Participate in student engagement activities such as orientations, open days, and graduations.
- NQF Level 6 qualification in an IT-related field with at least 1 year of experience in the IT industry.
- Relevant AI vendor certification (where applicable).
- Assessor and Moderator accreditation with MICT SETA.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve success.
