Job Description
Job Summary Our client in the Telecommunications industry is looking for a Software Tester.
Key responsibilities
- Identifies the best ways to evaluate the software and then perform a variety of automated and manual tests to figure out if the software serves its purpose and consistently produces desired results
- Extracting and documenting of test requirements for user stories and/or Business requirement specs
- Collaborate with developers and testing team by identifying, logging, prioritizing and verifying defects in a defect tracking system
- Communicate findings to other team members so that decisions can be made regarding changes, improvements and alternatives to try.
- Consolidate reports from software testing team and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Matric
- Formal qualification in computer science of business information systems
- Software experience and knowledge
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- A minimum of 2-years' experience in a similar role
- 2+ years' experience in MS Office, especially Excel
