Description

The Software Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products before they are released. Their main goal is to identify bugs, verify functionality, and ensure the software meets both technical and user requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete for WMS features
Conduct API testing using Postman to verify integrations, data flows, and system endpointsPerform manual functional testing on Warehouse Management System (WMS) to validate system functionality and performance Create comprehensive test cases, test plans, and scripts based on business and technical requirements Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear documentation Collaborate with developers and business to clarify requirements and resolve issues Execute regression testing to ensure new updates do not disrupt existing WMS functionality Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Ensure data integrity and system accuracy through database validation Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential Qualifications and Experience

BSC (IT) or equivalent degree / diploma 3 - 5 Years of proven experience in Automation Testing Proven experience in developing automated test scripts using TestComplete or similar Demonstrated experience in API testing with Postman, including RESTful services Background in documenting and tracking defects using tools like Azure Test Plans or similar Exposure to validating database-driven applications using SQL queries Create and manage test plans (manual and automated test cases) Ability to document and troubleshoot errors Working knowledge of test management software
